Fund Raise

If you decide to do some fundraising for AMIS we’d like to help you make it as easy as possible.

There are loads of different options for fundraising. Here are some example of the events we’ve organised or been involved in:

- Our annual comedy benefit at The Stand Comedy Club in Edinburgh

- Abseiling off the Forth Rail Bridge and the Tower Building at Dundee Uni

- Edinburgh Night Ride

- 10k Roadblock Run

Some ideas for what you could do to raise funds for AMIS:

- Run a 10k or (half) marathon

- Do something that scares you – skydive or abseil

- Bake sale at school or work

- Non-uniform day at school or dress down day at work

- Host/organise a music event

- Organise a football tournament

- An open mic or music night

If you do decide to fundraise on behalf of AMIS please get in touch with us to see how we can help. We have t-shirt packs for anyone doing a fundraising activity, as well as publicity material that you can display at your event. We can also promote your fundraising efforts through our website and social media accounts.

Youth Philanthropy Initiative

We have worked with a few different schools in the past, and we are always happy to offer our support to young people with an interest in our work. We are restricted to schools in the Edinburgh area as this is where our office is based and we have a very small team of staff. We try to accommodate as many schools as possible, but not always everyone. If you are a student or a teacher you can contact us on 0131 447 7449 or contact@amis.org.uk
