Volunteer

As a small charity we are always interested in hearing from people who have an interest in supporting our cause. We are currently actively recruiting individuals on a voluntary capacity for the following roles:

Helpline Volunteer

If you have an interest in supporting men affected by domestic abuse then volunteering on our national helpline may be the perfect opportunity for you. We are now recruiting volunteers to take calls on our helpline - Monday - Friday from 9am to 4pm. Volunteers are expected to commit to one 3 hour shift per week/fortnight over a minimum of 1 year. We’re looking for people with an interest in our area of work, and with good listening and communication skills. In return we offer comprehensive training and support. This opportunity is open to anyone, regardless of gender or gender identity. You can download the application pack and return it to volunteer@amis.org.uk.

Please note that all volunteers will be required to complete a PVG check.
