Non-Consensual Sharing of Intimate Images

The act of sharing, or threatening to share, intimate images of someone without their consent is a form of sexual abuse. It is illegal and can result in a five-year prison sentence.

Intimate images include:

• you taking part in a sexual act
• your genitals, buttocks or breasts exposed in a private place
• you wearing only your underwear in a private place
