AMIS is committed to being transparent and open. We are keen to share evidence. Here you can find academic resources, government statistics, Independent reviews and mass media which discuss male victims of domestic abuse. We have also listed some online safety resources for victims.

Online Safety Resources for Victims

Remember to keep a detailed diary of incidents, including times, dates, witnesses and photographic records of any injuries. Tracking each incident can help victims identify the abuse. This documentation can be valuable if your case goes to the police or the courts.

The following apps can help you keep an online diary to document important evidence and information about domestic abuse, stalking, harassment and family court cases. These apps allow you to securely store, access, organize, and share vital information and evidence confidentially.

For more information on keeping safe online as a victim, please read our article: Seeking Support Safely Online for Domestic Abuse Victims | AMIS (abusedmeninscotland.org)
