The UK Home Office have commissioned research on female perpetrators of domestic abuse. The
research is being carried out by Jennifer Barton-Crosby at NatCen Social Research.

NatCen has been awarded funding from the Home Office’s Domestic Abuse Perpetrators Research Fund (DAPRF) to carry out a small piece of research on the topic of female perpetrators of intimate partner violence (IPV).

The broad aim of the research is to consolidate expert knowledge on the subject and develop policy-relevant recommendations for interventions and campaign messaging. The research will comprise of two complementary stages: a brief evidence review and interviews with stakeholders who have expert knowledge in the area of female IPV perpetrators and/or victims of female IPV perpetrators.

Jenni (and her colleagues) would like to interview by telephone those who have expert knowledge of female IPV perpetrators and/or victims of female IPV perpetrators. All interviews will be confidential and anonymous.
