Because support shouldn’t end when the working day does.

AMIS is pleased to announce the expansion of its evening helpline, with a new Monday evening service launching on 27 July 2026.

The additional session will run every Monday from 6pm to 8pm, alongside our existing Wednesday evening helpline, which also operates from 6pm to 8pm.

We recognise that many men affected by domestic abuse are unable to seek support during standard office hours. Work commitments, caring responsibilities, concerns about privacy, or living with an abusive partner can all make it difficult to pick up the phone during the day.

By introducing a second evening session each week, we’re making our service more accessible to those who need it most.

Both evening helplines are answered by our trained male volunteers, who provide a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space for men to talk about their experiences and explore their options.

If you or someone you know could benefit from support, we’re here to listen.
