Why Wellness Matters

Those who consider, improve and understand their wellness are more likely to be happy, confident and resilient. Understanding wellness can create a higher quality of life, so it does matter. We often forget to look about ourselves, our feelings and our emotional state. Over time, forgetting to look after ourselves can make us extremely unhappy. We want to live in a Scotland that’s free of abuse, and we believe if everyone is happier, we can all be safer.

There are many different types of wellness that all link together to build our overall wellness.

Wellbeing or Wellness?

Wellness relates to having an intention to improve and then taking action with activities. Wellbeing is linked to feelings of satisfaction and a sense of fulfilment. We believe that wellbeing and wellness are strongly linked and are both important to become more confident and resilient.
