There is a special source of income due to people and groups that pledge their own time and effort to raise income for AMIS whether as Trustees or friends involved with the Charity or those who have nominated AMIS and the work it does as something they wish to support. We would like to take this opportunity to highlight the generous folk who have contributed and made a difference over the past 18 months.

May 2021, ITV fundraiser of the year nominee Donna Mulvenna from Dumfries and Galloway generously ran an online LUCKY LOCKDOWN FUN fundraiser providing AMIS with £300 a big thank you for the tombola spinning and all the wonderful online games played for our benefit.

June 2021, thank you to Ashley Cannon who self organised a sponsored walk fundraiser in memory of her brother Shaun Feeney. Half the funds Ashley raised on her walk were allocated to AMIS who received £2,335 as a result of Ashley’s generosity and effort.

July 2021, Andi Kelly Hair Studio in Juniper Green held a cutting fundraiser which raised £425.25 on behalf of AMIS so a big thank you to Andi and to her customers for considering us as your chosen charity.

August 2021, Sainsbury’s Supermarket at Cameron Toll Edinburgh held a well-being raffle where its hard working staff helped raise a total of £250 funds for AMIS who gives you all a big thanks for your donation.

September 2022, Julie Maceachen set up her 3 Lochs Challenge endurance trek in the heart of Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park as a fundraiser for AMIS raising a total of £436.25 including £71.25 Gift Aid. A huge thank you to Julie for choosing AMIS and all her organisation and endurance for this donation.

October 2021, two the long standing AMIS Board members, former Chairperson now current Treasurer, Alison and Secretary Hilary, participated in the Kiltwalk to raise a blistering £2,070. A big thanks to you both for your contributions from the day and for all the other valuable support work undertaken for AMIS.

October 2022, Dunbar Grammar School organised a special concert to raise funds for the work of AMIS and raised a total of £552.37 so a big thank you for all their support and time in promoting and helping our work.

AMIS would like to express our sincere thanks to all of the fundraising participants listed and hope that their innovation gives other potential supporters an idea of the diverse range of fundraising activities that can be set up to support us in undertaking and developing our work.
