AMIS expands evening helpline to Mondays

Because support shouldn’t end when the working day does. AMIS is pleased to announce the expansion of its evening helpline, with a new Monday evening service launching on 27 July 2026. The additional session will run every Monday from 6pm to 8pm, alongside our existing Wednesday evening helpline, which also operates from 6pm to 8pm.

Latest Police Scotland data: 16% of domestic abuse victims are male

Scotland’s Chief Statistician today released Domestic abuse recorded by the police in Scotland, 2024-25. Where information was recorded, just over four-in-five (81%) incidents of domestic abuse in 2024-25 involved a female victim and a male suspected perpetrator.
